Undisclosed paid

[edit]

I note that there have been undisclosed paid edits to this article, which is highly regretable. I have been looking at the article for evidence of promotional material. The main thing that concerned me was the detailed list of destinations: other airlines (e.g. British Airways) do not have such a detailed list. To address the concerns raised by the tag I suggest we remove the table. I would of course also like to see anything else which other editors deem promotional removed as well. "I note that there have been undisclosed paid edits to this article"
It's only claimed, not proven. As the tag says: "This article may have been created or edited in return for undisclosed payments". And as the user SmartSE wrote on Template_talk:Undisclosed_paid: "Generally we never know with 100 % certainty"
The user @लॉस एंजिल्स लेखक placed the tag into the article because he found the (outdated) logo of Wizz Air on page 6 of the presentation of WikiBusiness.
It's a company in Ukraine. In my view the claimed clients don't look convincing to me. Even in the unlikely case that Wizz Air payed for the service, why should Wizz Air allow WikiBusiness to use their logo? In order that Wikipedia editors get to know about the paid writing and the whole work of WikiBusiness in the article of Wizz Air gets undone? WikiPate (talk) 16:46, 5 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
The table of destinations was created to show only notable changes. Before that it was a text with less relevant developments regarding the destinations of the airline. The table shows plenty of failed entrepreneurial operations in the recent years. Every entry is well sourced. WikiPate (talk) 17:15, 5 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
OK. You raise a fair point. Let's retain the destinations table. Unless any other editor raises concerns in the next few days, I suggest we assume that Wizz Air has not paid for the service and remove the tag. Many thanks for your thoughts. Dormskirk (talk) 19:03, 5 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Destination table makes sense to me, but maybe it should have its own article? I have read the article and it seems okay to me to remove the tag. 🄻🄰 14:21, 13 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
