Wheal

[edit]

I understand, but haven't verified, that "wheal" means "mine" in Cornish (Kernoewek) language, so calling the mine "Wheal Hughes Mine" would not really be correct.  Donama 01:46, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Structuring in Wikipedia

[edit]

I'm not sure if there will be enough impetus to document all the mines of the copper coast in detail on Wikipedia. Possibly they can be be redirects to a summary article something like Mines of the Copper Coast. If you happen upon this page, please share your opinion. Thanks.  Donama 02:00, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've been to the copper coast and the best way to do it, in my view, would just be a Copper Coast article complete with histories and mine listings. michael talk 14:54, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
