Editing help request

I am trying to improve this page at the request of Wayne Perkins himself. I would like to upload a couple of photos as well as add current links. All of what I am trying to do is REQUESTED by Wayne Perkins & is intended to also improve the quality of info for this article. Each time I have tried to put any links, a bot removes them and I can't figure out how/where to upload his photos. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. - WaynePerkins (talk) 00:46, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

As a rule, people don't get to write their own biographies for Wikipedia. The bot may see your user name and the article you're editing and (correctly, in this case) suspects a conflict of interest. Also, this article has no references to reliable secondary sources. If Mr. Perkins is as notable as the article suggests, there should be multiple articles about him and his work in a variety of newspapers, magazines, and books. Grove / Prestige

Bob Grove was a record studio owner, but his studio on 1st Avenue North was called "Unity Records" and I don't think it opened until 1968. There was a Prestige Productions recording studio on Crestwood Boulevard owned by Rick and Vira Jean Maze with her father George Bates beginning in 1964. I don't know of any overlap or collaboration. Partly done Couldn't find the name of the studio he got hired to. The source only said He hightailed it to “Muscle Shoals” and landed at Quin Ivy’s studio in Sheffield, getting hired as a session player for $100 a week on the recommendation of drummer Jasper Guarino.
