Unnamed section

[edit]

The monument pictured in the article is incorrect. It is the Walton-on-Thames Memorial, which is located in England, not in Transylvania County.Robert1054 (talk) 04:14, 6 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have now removed it, although you could have done it yourself.--ukexpat (talk) 18:40, 6 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

War of 1812?

[edit]

The info box says this conflict was part of the War of 1812, but that seems clearly wrong, since the Walton War was decided years earlier, and since it was solely an interstate dispute. Is there any basis for this assertion? If not, I will remove it.

Also, is there any basis for listing South Carolina under belligerents? From the article text, it sounds like SC had little interest in the land, and the dispute was between NC and GA only. If there is some SC involvement, it should be added to the main text. --EightYearBreak (talk) 21:18, 27 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
