- This article is showcases a literally Nazi point of view, where a man who was supposed to investigate a crucial fire, was later imprisoned for Abuse of Office and died in prison. And it says "authors state that Gempp took his own life in order to secure his family's pension entitlements". There has to be better scholarship. The storyline that makes the most sense here is clearly the one where the Nazi's set fire to the building, blamed communists wanting to steal power instead, and then ruled as dictators to steal it first.
- What happened to this guy? What were his words? I'm sure that german academia has more info on him. SubcomandanteOvashinsky (talk) 18:49, 11 June 2026 (UTC)
