IP poor edits with bad sources
[edit]An IP keeps jumping on the page and adding content with very subjective sourcing. If there are criticisms or controversies to be added, let them at least be from quality sources. Seems to me some sort of jilted former employee or voice actor coming to the page. Also, WP:UNDUE. The Way of the Fewture (talk) 18:53, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

I have a conflict of interest: I am a paid contributor. My employer is Notably PR and my client is Voices. My disclosure is at User:MW42WI. I am not editing the article's characterization of the company directly and am requesting these changes for review by an uninvolved editor.
Issue: The article's history section ends in 2017, and the lead describes the company as a job search website. Independent coverage published between 2024 and 2025 describes a broader business under different leadership. The lead and the history are both out of date relative to available sources.

Request 1 — lead sentence
Current text:
Voices is a job search website focusing on voice actors and voice actor employers, headquartered in London, Ontario.
Proposed text:
Voices is a platform and online marketplace based in London, Ontario, that allows businesses to search for and hire professional voice actors and licensed AI voices.[1]
Request 2 — addition to History
Proposed addition at the end of the History section:
In June 2024, the company launched AI Studio, allowing professional voice actors to create AI versions of their voices.[2] Voice actors must opt-in to be included. Voices then licenses the voice and compensates the actors when it is used.[3] The move drew mixed reactions from voice actors, with some concerned AI voice clones may displace them.[3][4]

I have a paid conflict of interest with Voices, disclosed on my user page. I'm requesting a small infobox addition.
- Change: in the key_people parameter, add after Colin McIlveen:
Brittany McCarthy (VP), Finance - Reason: The infobox already lists the company's vice presidents by function; this adds the head of the finance function. Her title is stated on the company's leadership roll call.
