Native Russian-speakers are likely to know better than me: is the Russian for Village Prose деревенская литература or деревенская проза? Admittedly most of the scholarship on the subject I've read has been in English, but I seem to recall several of them saying they'd translated the term from derewenskaja proza. For what it's worth, google.ru has 5 540 results for derewenskaja proza and only 295 for derewenskaja literatura. --Speed jackson (talk) 16:49, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
