This article is written in Canadian English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, centre, travelled, realize, analyze) and some terms may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

Two requests:
that the header requesting a neutral point of view be removed. In my opinion, this article is sufficiently neutral.
that a Wikipedian with access to verifiable information add the acreage/size of Upper Rideau Lake to this article. Also valuable is information on average depth of lake, and the nature of the bottom of the lake (e.g., rock vs. mud).
