4012 fitting on turntable at Steamtown

The article states that it does not fit on the turntable, nor can it support it's weight. This video, recently posted due to a move, would contradict that claim. True that it doesn't fit with the tender attached (it was temporarily removed for the turntable move), but the locomotive not only fits, but turned with no issue observed. That will probably count as still being unable to fit completely. In order for an operating locomotive to fit on a turntable properly, it obviously cannot be separated. I also cannot add your link as a source to the article as YouTube is considered not reliable. Davidng913 (talk) 21:21, 28 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
