The picture is of the Commodore Perry, not the Commodore Perry. A correctly identified picture can be found at USMHI in the MOLLUS-Mass collection. http://cdm16635.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/compoundobject/collection/p16635coll12/id/9810/show/9777/rec/2 Apparently someone trusts DANS and NARA captions! The Barney didn't have two pilothouses.
