Odd that Emin's page is missing her full DOB (3rd July) and her middle name (Karima). These are not hard to find – they're available on her Britannica page here (article researched and written by their arts editor, Kathleen Kuiper, as credited at the top of the page). I was going to add this info myself but thought I'd ask why it's been removed first? Thanks --Jkaharper (talk) 18:39, 23 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
This article needs attention from an expert in Women artists. The specific problem is: that the article sourcing is at times thorough, but at times only sporadic, and so is in need of a sensitive, experienced editor with Arts credentials to review sources and separated fact from fiction (in the poorly sourced sections); as well, experience should cover redactive work at restructuring the overly sectioned and at times overly detailed article. See the talk page for details.WikiProject Women artists may be able to help recruit an expert.(January 2016)
Good work. Absolutely not pertinent and the other ones should be removed as well. Whoever defaces articles with these boxes ought to either organise people to fix whatever they find objectionable, or it fix themselves or just not put the boxes there; instead of feeling like they've done 'stellar and important editing work' by generating an eyesore. I'm tired of seeing them.86.87.191.180 (talk) 18:14, 23 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to propose an addition to the section on Emin's views/activism. I conducted this interview for Gay Times, so I have a conflict of interest and am requesting review rather than editing directly. Proposed text: In July 2026, Emin spoke out against the banning of Pride displays in libraries in Reform councils, underscoring her support of LGBTQ+ rights in the UK The article is paywalled but the relevant statements appear in the article. ~2026-38698-10 (talk) 14:19, 8 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
