The Meredith-Time Inc. deal hasn't yet closed as of now, and it isn't expected to close until 2018.[1] Given that, should Meredith be listed as an owner of Time Inc. as of 2017? It seems to me that Meredith shouldn't be included in the list of owners at all just yet. If it should be listed, then at least the date of transaction should be listed as 2018, and probably with a notation that the transaction is still pending until it closes. I currently work for Meredith Corporation, so I don't feel right editing this page at this time, in the spirit of following the no-editing-your-own-page rule. @Ajblue98: You are correct that we shouldn't list Meredith in the Infobox until the sale has closed, not even as pending. I've removed it for those reasons, and per Wikipedia's WP:CRYSTAL guidelines. - BilCat (talk) 12:31, 27 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
I added the sale by Meredith to Marc and Lynne Benioff to the article and the lead, but I did not change anything in the infobox, BilCat. Just did it an hour or two ago. --Prairieplant (talk) 08:49, 8 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
