Many printer drivers, or the control/application programs that come with them, contain the ability to do enlarged multi-sheet prints.

What independent programs have this ability?

• Poster Forge - poster generator; limited version free.

What programs have the ability to split an image into separate image files, for possible printing later?

• Splitz - Freeware

I don't think that the inclusion of the term 'Rasterbating' is appropriate in the opening sentence of this article. 'Rasterbation' is a reference to using that program specifically, and its half-tone method of rasterization to produce large images for tiled print. I know that they have some redirects to this page regarding that program, but I feel it's incorrect to call Tiled Printing and 'Rasterbating' synonymous. I won't change this myself, out of respect, but I do request that the people interested in this article consider removing it in this context, and instead refer to a renewed interest in tiled printing due to this program.-Multicore 22:40, 16 July 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Multicore (talk • contribs)

This article is missing something and places too much emphasis on Rasterbator. If I'm not mistaken, one of the first Print Master titles from Broderbund had the ability to do tile prints in the early 1990's--though that franchise has a very bad reputation these days, it was something fresh and virtually unheard of at the time. I remember doing a four page tile print of a single image in 1995 using that title. This article has definitely been hijacked by the Rasterbator program makers. Rasterbation can be used in any printing form, such as tiled printing, but tiled printing is not rasterbation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 153.26.2.60 (talk) 20:53, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

World records?

I can't find any secondary sources to demonstrate the notability of the claimed world records in this article, but I don't have the heart to delete them outright. There must be some student newspaper documentation or similar, but Google News isn't finding them. Dreamyshade (talk) 01:32, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

COI edit request: consider Rasterbator.app for Applications

Disclosure: I am associated with Rasterbator.app, so I am not editing the article directly.

Would an uninvolved editor please assess whether the site meets WP:EL and belongs in the "Applications" section? It is a browser-based tiled-printing tool that divides an image into a multi-page PDF and provides controls for paper size, overlap, crop marks, and page labels.

Proposed neutral wording:

• Rasterbator.app – browser-based tiled-poster generator that divides images into printable multi-page PDF files.
