There seems to be an unfair amount of attention on the pollution level of the Tijuana River, when the San Diego River isn't any cleaner. It's absurd how much blame gets passed to other people. Not to mention, La Jolla sewage runoff flows South down to where the river is, polluting everything on its way down. One reason there is so much attention on the pollution level of the Tijuana River is the intermittent overpowering stench permeating local neighborhoods from the river on some days.
