The one is a subcategory of the other. Either the categories are using the them "African American" to mean "Black," or there is an error with the categories. Wheatzilopochtli (talk) 14:34, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
In the U.S. they tend to use the term "African American" whereas in Canada they tend to use the term "Black Canadian", so the categories are named the same way. This is somewhat out of the scope of this article anyway. ...discospinstertalk17:14, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
