I have applied a failed verification clean-up tag to a line in the article that says the subject had a "... habit of avoiding prosecution for his crimes ..." as this is not stated in the cited source and has a meaning that is inconsistent with the source material as well as earlier parts of the article. If one is going to use judicial terminology, one needs to understand the judicial process the terminology applies to. Prosecution is what happens when an offender appears in court charged with a crime, and can be found guilty or not guilt to those charges. A result of prosecution is a conviction for which one can receive a sentence, which may or may not involve imprisonment. What I think is trying to be said here is that the subject had previously avoided imprisonment arising from previous convictions for his crimes, but this time he needed to go to prison.
