Relevance

The page is of relevance and importance, as it is related with a Hindi film, that had generated quite some controversy with few of its dialogues and scenes, though it later proved to be a utter failure. Endofworld123 (talk) 09:56, 10 June 2026 (UTC)

Not fit for deletion

This page belongs to a Hindi film by a person who has given many hit and important films in Bollywood, and who was once regarded as an important pillar there.

This film is certainly a big flop but the film certainly has its relevance and importance for reference value, being page related with a Hindi film from an important and previously successful film maker.

Hence deleting the page would not be correct in any way.

You need to make your view on the AFD discussion page, not here. The reasons need to be more than your personal preferences, but based on the film notability and general notability pages, and why reliable sources support the notability. A film doing poorly or not is not part of those notability criteria, nor is notability inherited, so having a notable person involved doesn't affect if this project is notable or not. Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because films are not covered under WP:A7. Certainly there are a few sources available. It certainly isn't a speedy deletion or WP:BLAR candidate. See India Today, Film Info and Telugu Times. Spiderone^{(Talk to Spider)} 21:05, 28 June 2026 (UTC)

Of the three sources mentioned only India Today appears to be a potentially reliable source because it is an authored publication. However that article primarily covers a controversy, which falls under WP:CONTROVERSIAL and does not by itself establish notability. Additionally per WP:NEWSORGINDIA, caution should be exercised when relying on Indian entertainment and celebrity news coverage,l particularly where articles are based on publicity material, routine announcements, or uncritical reporting. As for the other two sources, I do not see them as providing significant value for notability purposes. Film Information is not generally regarded as a strong independent critical source, and the Telugu Times piece appears closer to promotional or paid-content material rather than substantive journalistic coverage. @Hirematviru, I have removed the CSD tag from the article. Spiderone is correct in saying that films are exempt from A7.
