Taunk (surname)

Taunk or Tank is a surname common to north Indian communities like Kadia Kshatriyas, Kutch Gurjar Kshatriyas, Kumbhar, Prajapati, Vatalia, Darji, Sai Sutar, Suthar, Sikligar, Soni caste , hence I have again redirected it to Tank surname page -as this surname is not found only in Sikligar . The surname is mostly found in people living in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab states in India. Jethwarp (talk) 10:45, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

I have already figured that out. However we do not redirect to articles where the tern is not mentioned. As I see, Taunk was deleted and I myself failed to find ant descriptive information to add to Wikipedia. I am aware Tank/Taunk and Tak (surname), too, exist in Indian subcontinent, but unfortunately not enough encyclopedic info. --Altenmann >talk 16:15, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
