Specification Needs Corrections
[edit]- The cited source for the engine specification lists the displacement as 2100 cc, not 1700 cc as in the article.
- The cited source lists the dry weight as 162 kg, not 210 kg as in the article.
- The cited source for the specification does not list the bore and stroke of the engine.
- The listed bore and stroke (170 mm and 190 mm) for the four cylinder engine would result in a displacement of 17250 cc, which is far larger than the numbers listed in the article or by the manufacturer or what one would expect for a 172 hp turbodiesel engine.

- FWIW, one of the posts here claims that the engine is based on a Thielert Centurion engine which in turn is based on a Mercedes A class diesel engine. The 1,991 cc Mercedes-Benz OM640 engine has a bore and stroke of 82 and 93 mm. Bayraktar was previously using Thielert Centurion engines. Hopefully some verifiable source can be found for the correct specification. Joewein (talk) 11:21, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
