reason for name?

OK, so I get the Treac- part, but any reason for the -le other than typical inappropriate gene researcher humour (cf. Sonic Hedgehog et al)? If there is, I seem to have missed it. 146.199.0.216 (talk) 01:57, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

Changing the article's name

I think that the aritcle's name should be changed to "TCOF1" because it is a gene and Treacle is a protein, this article is about gene. NotCarlJohnson1992 (talk) 17:51, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
