Disputing change from Surkh-Rod to Surkh-Rōd

Just posting to state my disagreement with the addition of the diacritic to the title. "Surkh-Rod" is the common spelling in English-language books and media, and the addition of the diacritic adds no content for the average reader. It's unnecessarily pedantic and off-putting, and there's no similar name so close that the pronunciation needs to be refined. Stability Information East 2 (talk) 10:43, 5 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
