Talk:Steve Carell

"The Morning Show" Genre

Would The Morning Show not be a satire drama? 174.91.107.37 (talk) 05:48, 28 October 2025 (UTC)

Last paragraph of “Early Life” needs a citation

If Carell referred to Bill Cosby as a major influence during an interview, it’s pretty important to know when that interview occurred. And it could be libelous if he never said that. 2601:2C3:CD83:8A30:5DDB:FD21:7438:5C52 (talk) 03:14, 1 November 2025 (UTC)

Paternal grandfather's origins

Did Carell's paternal grandfather originate from Piacenza in northern Italy? If so, this would be notable and worth adding to this article, since the ancestors of most Italian Americans originated from southern Italy (including Sicily) and central Italy rather than from northern Italy. ~2025-31208-44 (talk) 20:41, 31 December 2025 (UTC)

Change "Both suburbs of Boston to Both are suburbs of Boston" ~2026-18799-04 (talk) 01:58, 26 March 2026 (UTC)

Partly done: I've given this and the previous sentence a slight copyedit to make this less awkward to read. It doesn't read right to me that these are separate sentences, so I've just merged them into one. Umby 🌕🐶 (talk) 02:10, 26 March 2026 (UTC)

Actually, the included citation doesn't verify the second part of this, so I've removed it. Umby 🌕🐶 (talk) 02:21, 26 March 2026 (UTC)

On the 5th paragraph under Office and other comedic roles the line "In 2008, Carousel signed a first look deal with Warner Bros." refers to Carell as Carousel. It needs to be edited to say Carell. ~2026-19919-54 (talk) 05:56, 31 March 2026 (UTC)
