Examples

[edit]

Seriously, does there need to be 22 'examples' of steak houses? Surely 5 would suffice, and they should probably only be the really well known ones: Lone Star, Big Texan etc. I'll leave it for a week and if no one says otherwise I'll change them. ABVS1936 04:10, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

The issue become who are the really well known ones. Its debatable based on your region and personal taste--Frequencydip (talk) 17:17, 2 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

This article is little more than a list of steakhouses. Trim the list, add to actual content.Jacksinterweb (talk) 18:13, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
agreed; so far, it looks like advertisement, not an encyclopedic article. Himynameishelen (talk) 00:11, 4 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Georgian Chophouses

[edit]

the article currently states steakhouses started in the 19th century, but the declaration that a steakhouse is also known as a chophouse would negate this claim, since there were chophouses in England in the 18th century, and probably before then.
