I just want to note some odd things in Viz's translations of the character creation notes by Araki at the end of the JoJoniums because I'm including them in the Production section. I don't know if they're errors by Viz or by Araki himself. In vol 3 he says "I had planned from the beginning to have Kakyoin and Polnareff switch allegiances away from Dio to join the group, but I didn't plan this for Hol Horse." This is contradicted in vol 7 when he says "Just like with Polnareff and Kakyoin, I didn't originally plan for Iggy to join the Joestar party". In vol 5 it has him refer to Kakyoin as the character's "last name", but two sentences later says "I gave him the following kanji for his last name: 典明." and goes on to talk about the Noriaki versus Tenmei reading. But I think we can say this one is just a typo and that Kakyoin is the last name. Xfansd (talk) 01:15, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

Jonathan's stand

Should the hermit-purple like ability used by Dio in Volume 2 (Chapter 122) be added to this article? It's more of a plot device than anything else but I feel like it's relevant, considering it received a description in the stand chapters of JOJO A-GO!GO!. Tradgore (talk) 16:27, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

Yeah, it was stated in the stand chapters of The artbook I mentioned before.

"He's able to use a similar clairvoyance as Joseph because his body is Jonathan's from the neck down."
