Following the apparent copyright vio by user 24.207.161.196, I have moved the previously existing version of the article (which was not a copyright vio) to the temporary subpage page so that it can be restored once the copyright vio version is removed. Ropcat 09:10, 5 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Poor usage of outdated/offensive historical term that serves no purpose

"One primary goal of the St. Louis Argus was to organize the Negro community"

I think "Negro" should be changed to Black. Even though the statement is about the history, it is neither necessary or appropriate to use the old label in this context to refer to the general community which exists in the present as well as the historical context being referred to.

Black is just as correct, and far less offensive.
