Without doubt, this page should be titled settlement rather than village, as the geographic feature refered to is common to all sizes of settlement from single farms to large towns. A series of small edits then need to be applied to the page accordingly.

The more dificult question is the correct construction of Spring line. The options are as follows:

Springline settlement
Spring-line settlement
Spring line settlement

My personal preference is for Springline, (as I'm sure that's what I was taught, many years ago) but I await the knowledgeable input of others...
