There are two other bridges across the Nile at Jinja: (a) The Nalubaale Bridge over Nalubaale Hydroelectric Power Station. It was built in 1952. It is a purely road bridge. (b) The Uganda Railways Bridge is a stand-alone railway crossing north of the Source of the Nile, but south of the Nalubaale Bridge and the adjacent New Jinja Bridge.
