Skullomie or Scullomie?
[edit]The sign pointing to it when driving along the main road along the coast of the northern highlands has it spelled 'Scullomie'. Accordingly I have redirected that spelling here.--X sprainpraxisL (talk) 07:42, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
- It looks to me as if it's got two names - the OS and Google Maps both use Skullomie (although on the 1:25 000 the OS uses Scullomie), but the post office certainly uses Scullomie. I think Scullomie is more likely to be the commonly used name - probably lies in the rendering of gaelic names to surveyors. If anyone has any more precise information it'd help.
