Shepherd's hut

As the article suggests, there are many cultural associations in the US intermountain west with sheep wagons specifically -- and they go beyond sheep ranching families. Many Wyoming homes have sheep wagons in their front yards. They are still being custom-built, many quite beautifully. Also, we don't speak of shepherds in this region, but sheepherders. In 66 years, I never heard of a "shepherd's hut" until I made this article...;) Meadowlark12345 (talk) 14:59, 18 August 2026 (UTC)

Many English have new ones in their backyards as guest quarters (or old ones as decoration). Spelling variations aside, I think the two articles could be merged since the concept is the same.   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 17:46, 18 August 2026 (UTC)

That may be a good way forward. Perhaps we could devise a "compromise" title, e.g. "Sheep camp" (this is a slightly more generic term used in the US -- not sure whether it would ring well in the UK context).
