Name

It is said that her mother was ethnic Japanese. Her name is clearly not Japanese but Chinese - in an odd transcription. Was or is her father Chinese? And which are the Chinese characters for her name? 46.142.34.122 (talk) 00:55, 5 October 2025 (UTC)

Preferred pronouns

For consistency it may be better to use they/them pronouns throughout. SenLinYu updated their instagram at the start of this year from she/they to they/she SenLinYu (@senlinyuwrites) • Instagram photos and videos. whilst sources directly from the subject state that they are fine with either pronoun they are relatively old (SenLinYu — idk if this has been asked before but what are... being 3 years old etc) and it might be a safer bet to use they/them. (presumably you're referring to me) All good, we did different math to get to the same answer and those refs may be worth including as well for redundancy. The about section on their website may be out of date, it seems like social media bios tend to have the most up to date pronoun preferences, so I tend to prefer citing those anyway. ^LaffyTaffer💬(she/they) 19:27, 22 October 2025 (UTC)

I agree that they/them pronouns should be used. I've also requested semi-protection due to the ongoing IP edits that change the pronouns, so hopefully that will help. Kylara (talk) 15:05, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
