Paul Rudd

[edit]

We need a source to cite on the Paul Rudd reference. --Chrispounds (talk) 13:16, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Very amusing that this guy, who lost the election, has an article on Wikipedia, but the guy who won the election is a red link. — Steven Andrew Miller (talk) 05:36, 8 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

This article could use an update

[edit]

This article states that he was a candidate for the 2010 election in Kansas' 2nd congressional district, but doesn't say the result of the election. I assume he lost, but the article should say so. Robofish (talk) 20:29, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Actually, now I look at the article in more detail, I'm not sure he's notable at all. Unsuccessful political candidates usually aren't unless there's something exceptional about them. Robofish (talk) 20:31, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sources removed

[edit]

I just did a substantial rewrite and trim of the article. In the process, I removed a number of sources that, while potentially useful, were not actually being used to support anything important. Here they are:

In addition, there was this YouTube link, which maybe someone might want to preserve in the article in some form:

Tevis Bill outcome?

[edit]

Our sources mention the introduction of the "Tevis bill" in the House, and I was able to find this state website that shows it marked up by the committee, but I wasn't able to find any legislative history for it (did it get a vote, did it pass, is it law?). Can anyone better at this than I am figure it out? --JBL (talk) 12:40, 14 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

I came to the talkpage to ask about the same thing. It might be appropriate to remove the paragraph, if we can't confirm that such a bill was ever put into law. The way the article is written, it (perhaps misleadingly) suggests this did become law. ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 12:11, 13 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
The bill was introduced, but never made it to a floor vote and was never passed into law. The sentence in the article is accurate, but might be a bit WP:UNDUE at this point. (ESkog)(Talk) 12:54, 13 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
It would be fine as long as we can make clear that nothing actually came of it. ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 13:39, 13 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
