Coordinate System?

[edit]

Does anyone know what coordinate system is being used in this article. I.e.:

"...Dike runs from NY 3307 7367 to NY 3872 7319 between..."

I guess any coordinate system is legitimate, but it's not Lat/Lon and not UTM, the two common worldwide systems, so it should be documented. Rapscallion 20:42, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Answering my own question, it's the British national grid reference system. I'll put a note and wikilink in the article. - Rapscallion 21:40, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Scot's Dyke at Richmond section irrelevant

[edit]

The section for Scot's Dyke at Richmond should probably be deleted as it has no apparent connection to Scots' Dike itself. There is even a 'do not confuse' statement at the head of this article about that. Unless sombody can provide source material showing a connection between the two subjects, that section should be deleted. Gallovidisk (talk) 09:15, 25 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
