I was there recently and did not see any rides what so ever. Was it a bad time of year?M8gen

this page should be titled Salem Willows Park instead M8gen 03:54, 3 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

As of last summer (2007) there were a few kiddy rides within one of the buildings. There was at least a small boat ride (the boats ride around in circles), a similarly small car ride, and I believe the carousel is still there. I rode these same rides as a child in the 70s.

In its hey day, there were several more rides outside on the open areas, including a little kiddie coaster, etc. It was never a big park even by the standards of those days, but it was a nice place for a picnic. I'm amazed the arcade and casino have managed to survive to this day. Doconeill (talk) 20:47, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

what do u mean by "casino"?
there's no casino that i know of, at least by any modern definition. perhaps one of the BUILDINGS housing skee-ball or w/e is known as such? 66.30.47.138 (talk) 14:07, 28 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
It was the building. Some places are called "casinos" that aren't active gambling establishments. It was also used for dance halls, but also for what we typically called arcades but these days offer more vintage games and skill games like skee-ball. Canobie Lake's arcade was called "casino" back in the day. In the Willows case, it originally opened as a ballroom. I believe the building was replaced, but retained the name.
