Dhangar and sagar both are different community so don't mix it.
And you told that sagar are formerly shudra varna , if you have any documents than search sagar was a king of suryavanshi rajput and also ansestor of lord ram so please check and write authentic . Arjun kalena (talk) 04:16, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
- I wrote that on the basis of the reference I found on the same page, I saw that the page was about Sagar Rajputs sanskritizing their status but it was edited that they actually kshatriyas, if they are kshatriyas, then they would have no reason to sanskritize to kshatriyahood. See what is written in that reference " Previously they were considered to be Dhangars—shepherds by occupation and Shudras by traditional varna."

There is no community called Shegar, Sagar in Rajout. So why have they been added in Rajput
[edit]They are dhangar and come under obc not general category Rajputs. There is no Sagar Rajputs ( Shegar etc) Rana of Bharat (talk) 09:10, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
