Technical and primary sources
[edit]There is plenty of good material in this article, but it has two closely related issues that I have tagged. First, it is very technical. Naturally some of the material is inherently technical, but I think that more context could be provided. Also, there are far more research papers in the further reading than are appropriate for a Wikipedia article. If some sources were found that are not primary research literature, they could serve as a guide for writing it in a more accessible way. Good luck! RockMagnetist (talk) 06:27, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
Page name
[edit]The current page name, SK3, appears to be a form originating in research in other animals since the corresponding alias is listed as "hSK3". It appears that the SK1, SK2, and SK4 have already have their page names use their respective gene symbols, so for consistency and to avoid acronym collisions it would probably be better to move this page to the gene symbol: KCNN3. Unfortunately there's already a redirect with a non-trivial history, so I can't overwrite it. If we want to move the page, I guess it would require requesting a technical move Pabnau (talk) 04:41, 30 September 2026 (UTC)
