Change of Name

Anil Kumars work was stolen by a certain "P. Anil" before Anil Kumar was able to digitize and take credit for his work on the internet. I have cross-checked all the information and added all the necessary information related to the original director (Anil Kumar) of the movies listed on this Wikipedia page. However, I am unable to change the name of the page, but I would like it to be known that the original director of these films is Anil Kumar. (As pictured in the Wikipedia page). IMDb shows the name as P. Anil, which prompted the late User:DGG to boldly rename this page from S. Anil to P. Anil, 10 days after creation in 2010. I propose the revert of the move. I would have preferred a title such as Anil (director), but that already exists, and is a different director (one of Anil-Babu), which IMDb has messed up by crediting him as the director of Adiverukal (1986) which was directed by S. Anil / Douthyam Anil / Anil Vakkam. Anil-Babu didn't start directing until 1992.

There are multiple directors listed at Anil Kumar (disambiguation) § In arts and media but no P. Anil / S. Anil / Anil Vakkam / Douthyam Anil, so we do need to straighten this. Jay 💬 11:50, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
