Talk:S-IC-T
Add topicMisused sources, incorrect information
[edit]As I read this article and its sources, I am finding much of the information in the article is one of three things:
- Wrong: The source says something different than the article information
- In regards to something else: Much of the Stennis B2 test stand information is actually about the MSFC 4670 test stand (and is blatantly expressed as such in the cited sources). Some of the S-IC stage information is actually about the S-IV stage (according to the cited sources).
- Absent from the cited source: The citation says nothing about the information presented. Other sources may, but I cannot verify based on the citation. Further, some information that is not in the cited source, is in other cited sources in regards to other things (ex: S-1C-T is aka All Systems Test Stage. That name is in reference to S-IVB according to the 6th source on the page)
As a fairly new editor, I am not sure how to go about changing this, as I feel the page requires some hefty editing (namely removal) to make the information accurate. Jblech2020 (talk) 13:44, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
Redundant pages/information?
[edit]Both this S-IC-T page and the Stennis Space Center page have sections regarding the B1/B2 test stand (at Stennis). I think it would make sense to either move the S-IC-T page's information about the stand (that which is correct) into the Stennis page, or create a new page for the B1/B2 stand (though I think the move to Stennis' page makes more sense).
