[edit source]

-incorrect conjugation of the verb "fly"

Within the "June 2021" subheading of the "Combined-fleet exercises" section, first sentence of the sixth paragraph:

"On 24 June, the final day of the exercise, three Tu-95 bombers, several Tu-22M bombers, escorted by interceptors MiG-31BM and two Il-78 tankers flied to the central Pacific Ocean as well."

change "flied" to "flew". "flied" is usually only used in the context of baseball or softball. Tdsnyder (talk) 03:10, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Dagestan war

[edit source]

The russian navy fought or assisted Russia during the War in Dagestan (1999). It should be added as one of the navy's engagements. Naval infantry, which are a part of the russian navy, participated in the war. CrazyFruitBat911 (talk) 08:00, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ok, what references do you suggest using? TylerBurden (talk) 15:25, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
So I have spent about a day looking for a source to back this up and after a long time of searching I cannot find anything. I thought this since it said in one article online but after an examination turns out I can't find a concrete source. Thanks for your time and sorry for the confusion CrazyFruitBat911 (talk) 14:56, 14 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
No problem, if you are able to find some sources about it you can post them here. TylerBurden (talk) 19:31, 14 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
will do, thanks. CrazyFruitBat911 (talk) 19:36, 14 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Mediterranean Sea Task Force

[edit source]

With the lease of the Tartus naval base cancelled [1] and all ships leaving the Mediterranean Sea in February 2025 [2], the Russian Navy no longer has any ports outside Russia. Several updates to the page are needed.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.29.17.19 (talkcontribs) 18:29, 10 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Can you read beyond headlines? The source you provided does neither mention the lease for the military base getting cancelled nor Russian warships withdrawing.

Incorrect Information

[edit source]

“Russian warship, go fuck yourself” Section should be deleted as false. This has been proven to be propaganda intended to boost morale. Please see the Wikipedia entry on propaganda during the Russo-Ukrainian War. 185.117.151.162 (talk) 14:14, 24 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

There are sources here saying it happened, so where are your sources saying "has been proven to be propaganda intended to boost morale"? Wikipedia articles aren't considered reliable sources for other Wikipedia articles. TylerBurden (talk) 18:32, 24 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Please change all links whose text is "Buyan-M-class corvette" or "Project 21631" and link to the article Buyan-class corvette to the link: Buyan-M-class corvette

Reason: Previously, information about the "Buyan-M-class" was in the Article Buyan-class corvette. However, I have split the article and formed a new article about only the Buyan-M-class corvette. I am now working on cleaning up the links to these pages so they are correct, but need an edit request on this page. NotRealShady7 7 7 (customer service) 14:00, 7 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
