Shouldn't there be a "death" section

[edit]

almost every biography has one but not Ross Perot? DYC TY (talk) 03:20, 22 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not one word about "Chickens In The Bathtub"?

[edit]

Perot sank his presidential campaign with a series of unhinged diatribes that included him blurting out bizarre references to his childhood, including "Chickens in the bathtub!": https://www.nytimes.com/1992/10/16/us/the-1992-campaign-transcript-of-2d-tv-debate-between-bush-clinton-and-perot.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-42218-12 (talk) 01:39, 17 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done. News coverage of the presidential debate described the chickens in a bathtub as a comedic anecdote about a student missing school, which was understood and went over well with the audience. Perot during his campaign did often kind of rant, which could be detached from reality. If there are relible sources covering that we could include it in this article and the Ross Perot 1992 presidential campaign article. But a quick search didn't find much, basically just this Richard Cohen WaPo newspaper column. -- M.boli (talk) 06:18, 17 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
