Disclosure: I am an employee of The Wells Companies, which is the current owner of the Rose Cumming merchandise line. Therefore, I have a conflict of interest with respect to this article, and I am requesting that independent editors review the following proposed change.

Current text: The article states "Later the merchandise line was leased to Dessin Fournir, and currently to Wells Abbott."

This statement is incorrect. Per this 2019 article in Business of Home, Lauren Hudson purchased (did not lease) the line of Rose Cumming textiles when its previous owner, Dessin Fournier, collapsed into bankruptcy. Since then, Hudson has revitalized the line, releasing new designs from its archive which honor the spirit of Rose Cumming’s design ethos. In addition, Hudson rebuilt relationships with fabric mills, showrooms, and interior designers; trust in the brand had been damaged in the previous owners' bankruptcy. Today, Rose Cumming textiles and wallpapers are represented across the United States and internationally.
