I have removed this bit "He has ties to ISIS" from the quote as it is temporally impossible; ISIS wasn't formed until 1999. I also can't locate any other organisations in the 60s or 70 that it would likely mean. Perhaps it is an issue with the German translation. In German oy is I think:
"Beziehungen bestehen zum IS." I assume it meant intelligence services. Could someone with access to the book check this? Amble123 (talk) 01:07, 2 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
