Did you know... that USAF General Vogt "shut down the war" and sent 119 aircraft to recover Major Roger Locher (pictured) only 60 miles (97 km) from Hanoi—the deepest rescue inside North Vietnam during the Vietnam War?

This is a webpage about then-Captain Roger Locher, who successfully evaded capture longer than any other US military aircrewman shot down over enemy territory during the Vietnam War and was rescued after 23 days. It's not about his crew chief, so why were there more pictures on this page of the crew chief than there were of Locher?

I've deleted all of those except for one with the crew chief and Major Lodge.
