WP:NCLANG is clear here: "Languages which share their names with some other thing should be suffixed with "language". If however the language's name is unambiguous as a noun, there is no need for this.". There is no ethnicity "Riantana" mentioned anywhere on Wikipedia. "Absence of evidence" (etc.) The name "Riantana" is primarily the people; the language is named after them. Most languages are named after an ethnicity or location. — kwami (talk) 12:28, 3 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

The Joshua Project speaks of the "Riantana people" and the "Riantana language". The OLAC Record subject heading is "Riantana language". West Papua Review speaks of the Riantana tribe. The Historical Atlas of Indonesia lists the "Riantana language". Now, I don't know that they aren't all mistaken, but generally we need to demostrate that a name is unique to a language before we give it as the language. — kwami (talk) 15:17, 3 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
