THE ANSWER IS QUITE SIMPLY REALLY, THERE IS NO MENTION OF RAY WINSTONE STARRING IN MINDER BECAUSE HE NEVER ACTED IN MINDER EVER, YOURS SINCERELY. JOHN.F.WOOD

Timeline mix up

As is written at the moment, the article suggests that Winstone went up to audition for the BBC while at school, as a joke. Actually he was 20 while filming and he had already appeared on TV drama and in theatre for several years before Scum.

"As a joke, he went up to the BBC, where his schoolmates were involved in an audition, and got one of his own by flirting with the secretary."

The source is weak and a private web page and it says nothing about Winston going to the audition with mates from school. I have fixed the order of narrative. Anna (talk) 10:15, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
