Rax → ? – Searches across GNews, newspapers.com, and the like for just "Rax" turn up entirely information on Rax Roast Beef. Searching just "rax" by itself on GBooks and JSTOR was an endless mess of false positives for other things called "Rax", or words like "ray" or "tax" being misread as "rax" by the OCR. I struggled to find any sourcing on the mountain range at all, as even "Rax + Austria" or other keywords turned up a ton of noise and very little signal. However, this and this suggest the region is called "Rax Massif".
There seems to be enough here to suggest that "Rax" is widely understood to reference the fast-food chain above any other topic, or at least that this region is not widely known as "Rax" by itself. However, I admit I'm not as well-versed in geography, so there may be more authoritative sources in terms of naming. - Support Rax (mountain range) or Rax (Austria), the mountain range has 694 views but Roast Beef has 7,382[]. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:30, 2 October 2026 (UTC)
