Padfield Family Raglan
[edit]I am the great great Grandson of William.Padfield who settled in Raglan in the 1840's and married Margaret.Darge in Hamilton Victoria by there death certificate and they had 6 children Mary.Jane, William.John,Peter,Adam,David&Harry.Nelson and David is on the old family property and the grave still there know as Baby Padfield We know William.John died of a mining at Ararat and left Wife Hannah.Padfield &Daughter Mary.Jane &Hannah was with Second child (Hannah.Wilamiah) Hannah Nee White parents were George.Hill& Ann.White as far as we know they never married (no paperwork)Found. Question George.Hill does anyone have information. William Brother Peter married Hannah.Padfield and they had William.John,Alice,Harry.Nelson&Alexander.Stanley.
My Question is William.Padfield who died in Raglan in 1868 and was a Resident for 20years and buried at Raglan.
Does anyone have information on where William came from & how he got to Raglan.
