Moving stuff over from draft

Hi, I previously had a draft at Draft:Race director that now seems to be irrelevant. If you guys don't mind, I wish to transfer over the content that I had and shift this article to be less F1 centered. Because this is a pretty major edit, I want to just make sure that nobody has any issues with me doing this. GalacticVelocity08 (talk) 23:21, 14 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

No objection from me. I'm all in favour of expanding the article to cover other series. DH85868993 (talk) 08:22, 15 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Derek Ongaro/Official starter = race director?

Latest comment: 1 year ago1 comment1 person in discussion

Currently, the article states that the position of race director was previously known as the official starter. Is there anything to back this up? If not, should Derek Ongaro be removed from the article? I found an article The-Race that would back this up, but it does not outright say it.
