Is this supposed to be here?

[edit]

Is "MADE IN THE PANCREAS" really supposed to be there, or is it a mistake?--Rex 21:25, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am not certain, but it stuck me as odd enough to check the discussion page, thinking the same thing you just wrote. Lets just let the confused statement accumulate here until it's clear that this addition should be checked out, removed, or neatly integrated into the summary. --Haladar 06:07, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

It would be nice to explain what intramolecular digestion is or avoid using uncommon terms that are not defined in commonly available sources. 83.237.61.128 (talk) 19:53, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Arctic Cod

[edit]

Hi, cod is said to have some (AFGP) polyprotein for anti-freeze. Searching Wiki for polyprotein redirected here, but on a cursory glance, nothing about polyproteins. Am I looking in the wrong place? MVH, T. ~2025-31296-83 (talk) 20:00, 4 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

There should really be an article for polyprotein, which at the moment is redirected to proteolysis because the article mention that polyproteins are processed posttranslationally into active proteins. Not really the appropriate redirect, but unless someone wants to write the polyprotein article, there isn't another appropriate one to redirect to (could use the protein article, but polyprotein isn't mentioned there). For AFGP specifically, you should look into antifreeze protein where Fish AFPs and AFGPs are mentioned. Hzh (talk) 11:43, 5 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
