Please oh please accept the update of the Portland State University page to reflect the new President of PSU. Anne Cudd is indeed the new President as of August 1, 2023. I work at PSU, but I don't believe that putting in the new President represents a conflict of interest, do you?

I have completed a top-to-bottom refresh of the PSU article to reflect 2025–2026 academic year data. Key updates include: Infobox: Updated enrollment (19,704), staff figures, and endowment ($127.5M) to reflect 2025–2026 status. Academics: Included the Race and Ethnic Studies Requirement (RESR) and the 2024 naming of the Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design. Campus: Added the Vanport Building, the Viking Pavilion, and the total renovation of Fariborz Maseeh Hall. Notable Alumni/Faculty: Resolved the "Section too long" maintenance tag from August 2024 by consolidating these into a single section with sub-headings and removing duplicate entries. Logistics: Updated KPSU, Athletics facilities, and campus transportation (Bike Hub/MAX) to current status. I’m aware of WP:NEWLLM. I did not paste unreviewed LLM‑generated prose into the article. I used external tools primarily to help check formatting, locate and verify sources, review for potential tone or COI concerns, and help generate sourcecode. All content I added was reviewed and edited by me before posting, and I take responsibility for it.

That said, if particular passages read as problematic in tone or structure, I’m happy to rewrite or rework them directly on‑wiki. I also understand the concern about the scope of the changes and am willing to reintroduce updates incrementally for review.

When you ask an LLM to do this, it will invariably end up altering the text which introduces the AI content. It will actually end up producing text that is no longer in wikivoice, and re-write it in that AI-tone. That's how I clocked this. You can ask if for suggestions and then look at them and write them yourself (though I don't think that is as helpful as people are often lead to believe) or ask it to evaluate it.
