Physical description

[edit]

Hey, EditorCrabTwinsLibrary. I'm looking to see what I can find in the way of physical descriptions of the genus as a whole. Obviously Miers 1879 has one, but it was a monotypic genus then. I'm looking at pages 48–49 of "The Decapoda Brachyura of the Siboga Expedition - 8. Majidae" (1986) by Griffin and Tranter right now, but I'll have to see if it says anything about what you wrote. Me too. I will check the page. EditorCrabTwinsLibrary (talk) 03:19, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
It is added; see page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pleistacantha EditorCrabTwinsLibrary (talk) 03:36, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't. I removed it. @EditorCrabTwinsLibrary: Again, read the ref and only summarize. Do not create information and slap a ref on it. Don't make me regret allowing you to continue editing. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:40, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
but... Why?..... : (
I will leave wikipedia, just worried and watching my articles being abandoned and removed if you dared to not let me. EditorCrabTwinsLibrary (talk) 05:58, 5 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
I will leave wikipedia ... I urge you to read Wikipedia:Don't be high-maintenance, especially the last sentence in the lead section. Mitch Ames (talk) 06:24, 5 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Or, if you are going to continue to be childish and throw small fits, try WP:DICKERY instead. - UtherSRG (talk) 11:37, 5 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Naturalist.nl provides a source for a physical description of Pleistacantha, but I cannot find any evidence this paper exists. If this exists, I'd love to write out a more thorough description. TheTechnician27 (Talk page) 11:24, 6 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
